1. First, thank you so much for your inquiry! Please know that we are responding to applications as quickly as possible, but sometimes it could take a few days to get back to you. We DO NOT respond to applications or phone calls on the weekend. Our darling fur babies are worth the wait!

3. You MUST include the name and number of your former or current vet on your application. If you've never had animals, please include the name and number of the vet that you plan to use if you are selected to adopt an animal. APPLICATIONS WITHOUT VET INFORMATION WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.
4. Any missing or incomplete information on your application will slow your approval and could cause us to skip to the next application that is complete.

MYOFB Rescue is located in Woodsfield, Ohio (43793). Out of state adoptions are fine, HOWEVER, you are in charge of picking your animal up. We DO NOT ship or transport in any way. If approved for this animal, when do you plan on picking him or her up?*

We need a veterinarian reference, without this information, we cannot process your application. Give us the vet with your longest history of consistent care. Your vet must confirm that you do yearly vaccinations and monthly flea, tick and heart worm prevention. If you are a first time owner, you must provide a family history of pet care.. If you have EVER been an animal owner, how is your name (or names) listed on the veterinary account? We can't process your application without the correct name. If you are unsure, call your vet office to verify the correct name.
THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART, READ CAREFULLY You MUST CALL your veterinarian to release your records to us or we can not process your application. We have to have the correct name on the records & the phone number, pets name listed on your records, or we can not process your application. We will need a vet that you consistently take your animal to, WE WILL CONFIRM that your family has a history of YEARLY vaccinations, HW tests, HW & flea prevention. ALL pets must be Spayed/Neutered PRIOR to adoption. Call your vet, review your records, it's the same info we will get! Make sure it is correct. We feel this is the same care we can expect you to give your adopted pet.
CURRENT OR PAST PET OWNERS: Without calling your vet, Releasing records, filling out an application is a waste of time. I certify that I have called, or will call my veterinarian ASAP to release my records to My Young & Old Fur Babies Rescue.
