We rescue puppymill dogs, we always help "special needs" such as dogs needing amputations, surgeries to correct congenital conditions, hypoglycemic tiny ones, that require a lot of special attention . We specialize in yorkies and yorkie mixes, but, are willing to help most any dog! Puppymill dogs are so wonderful, they are so pleasant and appreciate your care so much. They are so willing to move forward and forget their horrible past. The most common "issue" with them is lack of socialization, but, they flourish in loving, patient homes. The "special needs" dogs can be very expensive! Our sole finances come from adoption fees, we do not recieve ANY state or county funds. Adoption fees help cover vetting,(spay/neuter/dentals/hernia repairs/vaccines/wormings), special surgeries, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, food, treats any medical needs the animals may have.
Any and all donations are very, very appreciated!! All donations will only be used for the animals care. Please FILL OUT AN APPLICATION TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTION!! Due to our hectic schedule. Rebuilding the house, taking care of the rescues, vet appointments, picking up dogs in need of rescue, taking care of the website, trying to return phone calls, there are not enough hours in the day! We will be happy to answer any and all questions! We are working on as many things as we can, be patient and considerate. POOR PATZY WAS RESCUED FROM A PUPPYMILL, WHERE SHE WAS A BREEDING FEMALE, FOR THOSE CUTE PUPPIES SOLD FOR $2,500.-$3,800.00 IN PETSORES!!
SHE HAS A TREATABLE DISEASE CALLED DEMODEX MANGE, IT IS HEREDITARY FROM HER PARENTS, THEY WERE CARRIERS. THROUGH THE STRESS, NEGLECT, FEMALES LIKE HER SUFFER IN THESE HORRIBLE MILLS, SHE HAS BEEN IN PAIN & COMPLETE MISERY FOR OVER 2YRS!! WITHOUT ANY TREATMENT OR ANYTHING TO MAKE HER COMFORTABLE!!! SHE IS NOW ON ANTIBIOTICS, PRO MERIS, SPECIAL SHAMPOOS, ANTI BACTERIAL CLEANERS, PARASITE CONTROL MEDS.
IT WILL TAKE A LOT OF TIME & $$ TO GET HER BETTER, BUT, THEN SHE WILL BE ABLE TO RESUME A NORMAL LIFE, IN A HOME WHERE SHE CAN BE LOVED AND SPOILED, LIKE SHE DESERVES!!!
